Noordzee Helicopters Vlaanderen is seeking a Senior Purchaser to optimize procurement for its international helicopter operations. You will manage key supplier relationships, lead performance improvements and ensure timely availability of parts and materials to keep aircraft flying safely around the world.

You will coordinate with internal teams, handle purchase orders and supplier agreements, and contribute to ongoing procurement process enhancements, while supporting Aircraft on Ground

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
• Experience in a purchasing role.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Navision or SAP.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• English proficiency; French is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills and digital literacy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain flexible and resilient under pressure.
• A collaborative approach and ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Manage strategically important supplier relationships and be the main contact for supplier-related matters.
• Drive supplier performance improvements focused on service levels, lead times, cost efficiency and overall performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier performance issues and ensure continuity of supply.
• Manage procurement activities, purchase orders and supplier agreements while ensuring contract compliance.
• Monitor open purchase orders and proactively follow up to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP data.
• Provide support for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and participate in on-call rotation (~every 4–5 weeks).
• Act quickly on urgent procurement requests to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Support development of procurement processes, supplier strategies and supply chain initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, supplier performance and cost control.
