GEA Germany GmbH in Belgium seeks a Project Buyer to join the NPE – Nutrition Pant Engineering Division. You will be the key Procurement representative within project teams, guiding sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in procurement, strong contract and negotiation skills, SAP experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably within an industrial or project-driven environment.
• Strong experience in contract management and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of international procurement practices and commercial agreements.
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Proven project management and cost management capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Project Procurement Management: Manage tactical sourcing activities for assigned projects in alignment with procurement strategies and category management guidelines.
• Purchasing and Order Management: Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders; track supplier confirmations and delivery schedules; perform expediting to ensure on-time delivery.
• Project Support and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary Procurement contact for Project Managers, Engineering, Planning, and other stakeholders; provide updates on procurement progress.
• Contract and Supplier Management: Support supplier contract administration and compliance; identify opportunities for process improvement.
