Job summary
Tractebel, part of the ENGIE Group, is seeking a Project Manager and Power System Expert to drive expansion of power-system activities across EMEA. You will lead large, multidisciplinary studies, coordinate contributions across international teams, and contribute to commercial efforts for transmission services.
The role requires a master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with power-systems focus and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
- At least 4 years of experience in power system studies or related roles.
- Fluent English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of phasor-type simulations and EMT modelling is a plus.
- Experience with specific power system tools (PSS/E, DIgSILENT, ETAP, PSCAD, ATP, EMTP-RV).
Responsibilities
- Lead large, multidisciplinary power-system study projects for international clients.
- Coordinate technical contributions across global teams.
- Contribute to commercial activities of power system transmission services.
- Model preparation and validation; steady state and dynamic analyses.
- Manage stakeholders and structure client needs in technical reports.
