Work Life Group NL in Belgium seeks a Network Engineer to operate within a complex multi‑domain environment, delivering secure, resilient interconnectivity and contributing to service evolution and change management under the Senior Routing and Switching Engineer.

The role requires strong expertise in BGP/OSPF/IS‑IS, IPv6, MPLS, QoS, SD‑WAN, and automation (Python/Ansible), plus experience with monitoring and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2+ years’ post‑related experience or 8+ years of extensive related expertise.
• 8+ years in complex network engineering roles with routing protocols and IPv6.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF/IS‑IS, MPLS, policy‑based routing, and VRF.
• Experience with QoS, datacenter switching, SD‑WAN, and automation tooling.
• Hands‑on with monitoring, incident management, and CSIRT practices.
• Strong documentation and SOP writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced Level 3 support for complex enterprise networks.
• Lead resolution of high‑impact incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Design, plan and implement network enhancements and projects.
• Coordinate changes with governance, ensuring minimal service impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and SOPs.
