Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Logistics experience in manufacturing and ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint; able to multi-task and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, cover, dispatch and trace freight inbound or outbound (including expedites).
• Monitor routes/lanes/shipments for compliance with service providers.
• Communicate with carriers on performance and opportunities; maintain strong relationships.
• Support development of requirements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of bid packages.
