Job summary

Manuport Logistics (MPL) in Antwerp is seeking a proactive Forwarder to join the Liquids team. You will manage international shipments involving bulk liquid cargo, coordinating bookings, documentation and communications with customers and partners worldwide.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in freight forwarding, knowledge of liquids logistics, and a strong focus on accurate documentation, compliance, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in freight forwarding.
• Experience with liquids, Tank Containers, Isotanks, Flexitanks or Bulk Logistics is a strong asset.
• Experience in general cargo forwarding is relevant.
• Solid understanding of international forwarding processes and transport regulations.
• Ability to handle forwarding documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or other languages a plus.
• Strong customer focus with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage international liquid shipments from A to Z.
• Coordinate bookings, transport arrangements, documentation, invoicing and follow-up.
• Act as primary contact for customers, suppliers, depots, agents and carriers.
• Build long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues before they impact the customer.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage multiple customer flows and priorities simultaneously.
• Advise customers on logistics solutions and operational possibilities.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve service levels and efficiency.
