EY seeks a Manager for Global Indirect Tax Compliance focused on sector industries in Belgium. You will act as the VAT controller for outsourced indirect tax processes, coordinating data, reports and advisory work across client engagements and country teams.

Deliverables include reviewing returns, leveraging AI tools for data quality, and guiding teams while expanding client relationships and cross-service opportunities. Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant professional experience in Indirect Tax compliance, VAT reporting or accounting, including reconciliations, or Indirect Tax advisory.
• Experience or interest in AI and technology within tax processes.
• Understanding of ERP systems and VAT/GST reporting solutions
• Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch – written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Act as the VAT controller for the Indirect Tax compliance outsourced to EY for client engagements.
• Monitor and review the quality of client indirect tax data and reports using AI and other technologies.
• Review and approve indirect tax returns and identify ways to maximise cash for clients.
• Keep up with legislative changes to ensure clients' systems and processes are updated.
• Coordinate indirect tax advisory, technology, controversy and audit support.
• Lead and coach team members and broaden client relationships.
