AB Volvo seeks a Data Modeler to lead the Volvo Group Unified Data Platform data model. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the VGDM is optimized, accurate, and supports data-driven initiatives across the Volvo Group.

You will own the end-to-end model lifecycle, set standards, and enable data product teams to build better data products using VGDM. English fluency and co-creation experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling.
• Strong grasp of normalized and de-normalized models.
• Proficiency in data analysis and Teradata Vantage Data Model (or similar).
• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to negotiate stakeholder interests and use co-creation methods.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve the VGDM for UDP, including the full model lifecycle.
• Establish modeling standards, guidelines, and templates for teams.
• Support data product teams to design and develop logical and physical data models.
• Provide rapid mapping from business concepts to Teradata mLDM-based structures.
• Review and integrate model changes with governance and quality controls.
• Measure adoption and impact of the data model.
