Job summary

Axis Group is seeking a Compliance Officer to help ensure regulatory adherence in a global, fast-paced environment. You will monitor payments, perform screenings, and collaborate across departments to strengthen compliance controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Law/Finance degree with initial experience in compliance, risk, or auditing, and demonstrates strong analytical skills, precision, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Legal Studies, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preliminary experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Auditing, Finance, or a similar area.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify risks with precision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payment activities and transactions for irregular or non-compliant activity.
• Review transactions to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
• Conduct screenings for customers, suppliers, and business partners using compliance tools to ensure due diligence.
• Carry out compliance monitoring to evaluate adherence to policies and controls.
• Perform sanctions screening and analyze potential matches against global lists.
• Support KYC/KYB/AML/CTF processes and related due diligence.
• Investigate compliance alerts and issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies; maintain records and documentation.
• Keep updated on regulatory changes and their implications for the organization.
• Provide compliance guidance and conduct awareness training for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Procurement and others to enhance controls.
