Hogan Lovells Cadwalader Brussels office seeks a Finance Associate to handle Belgian and international banking, finance and debt capital markets matters, including debt finance, DCM and structured finance.

Candidates have a Master in Law in Belgium, at least 3 years of relevant experience in banking & finance at a reputable firm, fluent in Dutch or French with excellent English, and strong project management and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Master degree in law in Belgium with excellent academic results.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in banking & finance at a reputable law firm.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of the other national language and excellent English.
• Strong project management skills and ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Willing to learn and develop relationships with clients, regulators and counterparties.
• Team player with ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Handle a broad variety of Belgian and international banking, finance and debt capital markets matters.
• Work on debt finance matters, including syndicated and LMA-based financings.
• Contribute to debt capital markets transactions and structured finance activities.
• Engage in financial regulatory work for banks and other regulated entities.
• Involve in corporate and M&A-related work in the financial sector.
