Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science and related field.
• Ability to understand process integration flows and hands-on process development.
• Experience working in an international context.
• Strong data analysis skills; familiarity with statistical software is a plus.
• Able to work to timelines and handle stress.
• Structured project management methodology.
• Excellent reporting skills and clear result presentation.
• Eye for detail with ability to take high-level perspective; English required; Dutch an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Build up vital expertise on germanium substrates and the wafering process.
• Improve current processes and develop new processes for new applications.
• Set up and coordinate testing and select/buy tools for timely industrialization.
• Craft and test improved production flows with new processing steps.
• Interact directly with end customers to understand their needs.
• Coordinate development with colleagues and external partners such as equipment vendors.
• Develop, prioritize and follow up development projects within a defined framework.
• Report on R&D contributions in public-funded projects and present results.
