Job summary

PASSION WORKS! in Genk, Belgium is seeking a proactive procurement professional to join our operations team. You will handle end-to-end purchasing, analyze technical data to source the right materials, and negotiate with suppliers on price, quality and delivery terms.

You will collaborate with project managers, monitor supplier performance, manage invoices and supplier data, and ensure accurate order tracking in our ERP system while upholding quality, safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• You participate in the complete operational purchasing process.
• You analyze and interpret technical information to procure the right materials and components.
• You request quotes and negotiate with suppliers on price, quality and delivery terms.
• You actively seek alternative materials and technical solutions.
• You work closely with project managers and discuss new materials and components.
• You monitor supplier performance and prepare the necessary purchasing reports.
• You verify invoices and manage supplier data and logistics parameters.
• You track orders and order confirmations accurately in the management system.
• You contribute to quality, safety, health and continuous improvement.
• You handle confidential information carefully.

• Je staat mee in voor het volledige operationele inkoopproces.
• Je analyseert en interpreteert technische informatie om de juiste materialen en onderdelen aan te kopen.
• Je vraagt prijzen op en onderhandelt met leveranciers over prijs, kwaliteit en leveringstermijnen.
• Je zoekt actief naar alternatieve materialen en technische oplossingen.
• Je werkt nauw samen met projectleiders en overlegt over nieuwe materialen en onderdelen.
• Je volgt leveranciersprestaties op en verzorgt de nodige aankooprapporteringen.
• Je controleert facturen en beheert leveranciersgegevens en logistieke parameters.
• Je volgt bestellingen en orderbevestigingen nauwkeurig op in het beheerssysteem.
• Je draagt binnen je functie bij aan kwaliteit, veiligheid, gezondheid en continue verbetering.
• Je gaat zorgvuldig en vertrouwelijk om met bedrijfsgevoelige informatie.
