METAFRANC is seeking a Dutch-speaking Field Sales & Merchandising Officer to grow our customer portfolio in Vlaanderen, focusing on Ghent and surroundings. You will retain existing customers, win new ones, and ensure shelves are well stocked and promoted at retailers.

The role requires at least 2 years of commercial experience, strong Dutch skills, and willingness to travel for frequent regional visits. A company car, laptop, and smartphone are provided to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of successful commercial experience, preferably in B2B or DIY/hardware sectors.
• Excellent command of Dutch; French is a real plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to work independently; good IT skills (CRM, Office).
• Dynamic, proactive, customer‑oriented with teamwork spirit.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Gent region and surroundings.

Responsabilités

• Manage the customer portfolio, maintain existing customers and propose suitable solutions.
• Develop commercial growth by prospecting new customers in the Gent region and surroundings.
• Implement and animate product ranges at retailers (shelf management, POS material, restocking, training of sellers).
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by seizing field opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements with customers at competitive prices.
• Process orders, deliveries, and payments in coordination with internal teams.
• Monitor the market and competitors and share insights with management.
