As a Genetec Engineer, you play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and support of Genetec Security Center solutions. You are involved in all phases of the project — from design to maintenance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Genetec Security Center systems (access control, video surveillance, ANPR, intercom, etc.)
- Analyze customers’ technical requirements and contribute to system architecture design
- Commission systems on-site while ensuring quality and compliance
- Integrate Genetec solutions with other systems (IP cameras, controllers, alarm systems, servers, etc.)
- Perform functional tests and validate configurations before go-live
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems
- Prepare technical documentation (diagrams, plans, reports, procedures)
- Train end users and support internal technicians
- Collaborate with internal teams (projects, support, sales) to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to guarantee continuity of technical support
- Keep up to date with technological developments in Genetec products and the broader security market

Required Skills and Qualities
Technical Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intercoms, alarm systems)
- Strong understanding of IP networks (switching, routing, VLAN, PoE, network security)
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper‑V)
- Experience in configuring and integrating Genetec Security Center
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Understanding of communication standards (TCP/IP, RTSP, ONVIF, SNMP, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity in physical security systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Clear and structured documentation of procedures and intervention reports
- Ability to read and understand technical English
