Job summary

Perspective Blue SRL in Leuven area seeks a General Ledger Accountant to join a fast-growing, international network in the medical sector. You will own the general ledger for multiple entities, post journal entries, manage closings, and support statutory accounts while liaising with auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a General Ledger or accounting role in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting principles and VAT regulations.
• Proficient with accounting software/ERP systems and Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a good working knowledge of English.
• Analytical, precise, and comfortable managing deadlines.
• A team player who thrives in a dynamic, growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger for multiple entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and provisions.
• Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual closings in line with group deadlines.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Support VAT compliance and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
• Contribute to intercompany reconciliations and reporting across the group's entities.
• Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance team and other departments to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
