Artefact Belgium is seeking a Tech Lead – Gen AI to own the technical direction of our AI engagements, mentor a small team of engineers and data scientists, and deliver production‑grade, client‑facing solutions in a consulting environment.

You will shape architecture for RAG and agentic AI systems, lead by example, review code, and collaborate with clients to translate complex AI concepts into business value while staying at the forefront of GenAI innovations.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• 6+ years in AI with ML and GenAI focus.
• Experience as tech lead with architecture ownership.
• Consulting experience with client relationships.
• Deep knowledge of GenAI: RAG, agentic workflows, multi-agent architectures.
• Strong Python skills and cloud experience.
• Excellent communication; English/Dutch/French proficiency.
• Eligible to work in Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical vision and architecture of AI-powered solutions.
• Lead a team of engineers and data scientists; mentor and hire.
• Serve as primary technical lead in client interactions.
• Design evaluation frameworks and production-ready metrics.
• Oversee deployment, model serving, and APIs.
