Artefact Belgium is seeking a Senior Data Scientist – Gen AI to lead cutting-edge LLM projects in Brussels. You will design, develop and deploy GenAI solutions for diverse clients, guiding projects from ideation to client delivery.

Bring 4+ years of AI/consulting experience, strong leadership and Python/NLP expertise. You will mentor teams, define architectures, evaluate models and help grow Artefact's GenAI practice across industries.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI experience with data, ML, LLMs or GenAI in consulting.
• Experience leading client projects and managing teams.
• Deep expertise in fine-tuning, RAG, evaluation and production deployment.
• Strong Python skills and NLP framework experience (HF, OpenAI, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development and deployment of LLM-powered solutions for clients.
• Architect AI systems using LoRA/QLoRA, prompt orchestration, RAG and multi-agent workflows.
• Design evaluation frameworks and production-ready quality metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers and data scientists; drive best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into AI solutions.
