Nexeo Belgium is seeking a Functional Analyst for a leader in the Belgian banking sector. You will be part of an international consultancy supporting transformations from business consulting to IT solutions, with offices in multiple countries.

The role focuses on functional design, analysis, and system enhancements, requires 5+ years in functional design, fluent English and Dutch, Agile experience, and banking/payments experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing the functional design of information systems.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and data-driven thinking.
• Practical banking/payments experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Create the concept and manage planning for the preliminary analysis and design phase.
• Perform the functional analysis of information systems and draw up the functional design after the prestudy.
• Support changes and enhancements from development through production.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements.
• Develop new program requirements and specifications for customer needs.
• Support system upgrades and resolve problems with current systems.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements and project time estimates.

Nexeo is currently looking for a Functional Analyst for one of the leaders within the banking industry in Belgium.

Nexeo Belgium is a consultancy company that supports its clients in the banking, finance and insurance sectors in all phases of their transformation projects: from business consulting to the implementation of IT solutions.

As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible of the following tasks:

• You create the concept and manage the planning for preliminary analysis and design phase;
• You perform the functional analysis of information systems and draw up the functional design after the prestudy;
• You support changes and enhancements from development through production;
• You recommend and implement system enhancements;
• You develop new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs;
• You support system upgrades and resolve problems with current systems;
• You analyse service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements and project time estimates.

Profile

• +5 years of experience in managing the functional design of information systems
• Fluent in English AND Dutch
• Agile Methodologies, Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Data driven, IT Security, Software development
• You have a 'Can do' mentality, combining pragmatism with the pursuit of sustainable solutions.
• Practical experience in banking, and especially payments or financial wellbeing solutions, is an asset.
• Experience with SAFe, Scrum or Agile is a plus
• You are familiar with the steps/phases in a project life cycle.
• You have affinity and/or experience with projects in a technically challenging environment (big data, mobile frontends, Api’s, SQL, ...).
