A leading research university located in Brussels is seeking a full-time lecturer in Immunology. The role involves teaching fundamental immunology and related courses while also conducting research. A PhD in a relevant field is required, along with demonstrated expertise in immunology and prior teaching experience. Candidates must also submit a teaching dossier. The teaching load associated with these courses aims to ensure the learning of the essential basic concepts of fundamental immunology in the second year, as well as the knowledge and understanding of the host–pathogen relationship in the third year of the bachelor’s program and the first year of the Master’s program. It aims to break down the barriers between microbiological disciplines (Bacteriology, Virology, Parasitology–Mycology) and immunology by offering cross-disciplinary teaching within course units in Biomedical Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, or Dental Sciences.
