Job summary

EngiFlex BV is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to strengthen our teams in a large-scale business transformation programme. You will join a department of around 70 people and contribute to handover, refactoring and greenfield development of business applications, covering the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.

You will work on Java development, RESTful/SOAP services, and front-end integration with Angular, HTML, CSS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in Java development, ideally in a full-stack role.
• Experience in project teams delivering greenfield applications from scratch.
• Familiar with multi-system integration and complex technical landscapes.
• Strong practical knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• Security patterns, including Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Experience with Spring Batch, SOA, microservices and CQRS.
• Apply test-driven development and continuous integration practices, using JUnit, Mockito, Cypress and Selenium.
• Combine front-end knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular with solid back-end development skills.
• Familiar with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, SVN or Git, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, JBoss and Tomcat.
• Relational databases and O/R mapping, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Read BPMN, UML and technical documentation standards.
• Work comfortably with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Talend, ZK, Oracle or Kafka is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Solution-oriented, customer-oriented and strong in problem solving.
• Active knowledge of French or Dutch, both spoken and written, including technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively in English, especially in writing and within the team.

Tasks and responsibilities

Within a large-scale business transformation programme, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to strengthen existing teams.

You will join a department of around 70 people and contribute to the handover, refactoring and greenfield development of business applications. In this role, you support analysts and business objectives while covering the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain business applications in Java.


• Build application components and web services.


• Contribute to the design of architectural components and technical building blocks in collaboration with the technical lead and software architects.


• Take part in technical working groups, Scrum ceremonies and, when needed, meetings with end users.


• Support testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

Your profile
