Sonetas is a Belgian software company delivering SaaS for veterinarians. We are modernising an existing platform and building a new greenfield hospitalisation app, using Java, Spring Boot and React, with AI-assisted development as part of daily work.

As a medior/senior engineer you will own features, contribute to architecture, and collaborate in a Kanban team. We offer hybrid work in Belgium, payroll or freelance arrangements, and a supportive, open atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven medior/senior software engineer
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot and React
• Interest in both frontend and backend development

Responsabilités

• Further modernise towards a Java / Spring Boot / React stack
• Help build the greenfield hospitalisation application
• Develop new services, APIs, modules and features
• Actively use AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude
• Contribute to discussions around architecture, quality, performance, security and usability
• Work in a Kanban methodology with initiative and ownership
