Pauwels Consulting Nederland zoekt een senior software engineer in Antwerpen om een modulair platform te bouwen binnen een microservices-architectuur. Je neemt een leidende rol in een multidisciplinair Agile-team, levert high-quality code en coacht andere ontwikkelaars.

De rol vereist 5+ jaar ervaring, React/Javascript/CSS aan de frontend, Node.js backend, en expertise in PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ en Docker. Verduidelijking van contract: vast of freelancer; startdatum 05/10/2026, duur tot 15/07/2027;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web-based application development.
• Expertise in frontend development with React, Javascript, and CSS.
• Strong backend development skills with Node.js.
• Experience with data and integration technologies including PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Microservices.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience leading development teams and coaching other developers.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2).

The role involves developing a modular, strategic system within a microservices architecture and taking a leading role in a multidisciplinary Agile environment.

• Develop, test, and debug high-quality code within a microservices-based environment.
• Lead the development team by providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Design and implement scalable web-based applications using modern technologies.
• Drive the evolution of the modular platform in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Take a proactive role in the Agile development process to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage complex data flows and integration between distributed services.

• You have 5+ years of experience in the development of web-based applications.
• You bring deep expertise in frontend development using React, Javascript, and CSS.
• You possess strong backend development skills with Node.js.
• You have experience with data and integration technologies including PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Microservices.
• You bring technical knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• You're experienced in leading development teams and coaching other developers.
• You possess a strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Elixir.
• Experience with Redis.
