Otamiser, Ghent-based hospitality tech scale-up, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Developer to architect for long-term success while delivering quickly. You will shape our AI-native platform, orchestrate multi-agent workflows, and drive production-ready features across a React frontend and Node.js backend.

You will partner with the CPO and CTO to evolve the architecture, address risks, and raise the bar for reliability, performance, and extensibility as we scale internationally.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrable expertise in system architecture: designed and evolved production systems at scale.
• A genuine passion for agentic AI and automation: production with LLMs, orchestration, reliability.
• Strong production experience with React and Node.js (TypeScript).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, data modeling, and service decomposition.
• Track record of building extensible systems, not just shipping.
• Solid grasp of performance optimization, reliability patterns, and infrastructure scaling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Product intuition: outcomes-focused, user-centric thinking.
• High standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Strong communicator: explain architectural decisions to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Autonomy and strong technical ownership.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar).
• Experience integrating Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or other frontier models into production products
• Built or operated automation workflows at scale (n8n, Make, Zapier at API level).
• Experience in SaaS, marketplace, or data-intensive B2B products.

AI agents are not a future roadmap item here, they're already running in production, and this role sits at the centre of that.

About the role

We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can architect for the long term while shipping in the short term and who gets genuinely excited about what agentic AI makes possible.

You think in systems. You understand how today's decisions create tomorrow's constraints, and you design accordingly. But you also follow the frontier: you know what LLMs can and can't do reliably, you've thought about how to orchestrate agents safely, and you're drawn to the challenge of turning autonomous systems into robust, production-grade products.

You’ll work directly with our CPO and CTO to evolve our platform architecture and help us build the next generation of AI-native features that are already on our roadmap.

What you'll do

Lead architecture decisions across our stack: defining service boundaries, data models, API design, and integration patterns that hold up as we scale

Design and build agentic AI systems: multi-agent pipelines, LLM integrations, automation workflows, and the infrastructure to run them reliably in production

Build and extend our core web application: React frontend, Node.js/TypeScript backend

Design for extensibility: our product surface is expanding rapidly, and the foundations you lay today need to support features that don't exist yet

Proactively identify architectural risks, technical debt, and bottlenecks: and drive the roadmap to address them

Own features end-to-end, from technical design through to production and iteration

Contribute to product thinking: challenge specs, propose alternatives, catch edge cases early

Drive and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and confident deployments

Plan for infrastructure scaling, performance optimisation, and system reliability as our customer base grows

Mentor other developers and help establish engineering standards that scale with the team

What we're looking for

5–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering

Demonstrable expertise in system architecture: you've designed and evolved production systems at scale, made hard tradeoffs, and lived with the consequences

A genuine passion for agentic AI and automation: you follow the space closely, have built with LLMs in production, and understand orchestration, tool use, memory, and reliability at a practical level

Strong production experience with React and Node.js (TypeScript)

Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, data modeling, and service decomposition

Track record of building systems that are easy to extend, not just easy to ship

Solid grasp of performance optimisation, reliability patterns, and infrastructure scaling

Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD

Product intuition: you think about users and outcomes, not just implementation

High standards for code quality, testing, and documentation

Strong communicator: able to explain architectural decisions to both engineers and non‑technical stakeholders

Comfortable with autonomy and a strong sense of technical ownership

Hands‑on experience with multi‑agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar)

Experience integrating Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or other frontier models into production products

Built or operated automation workflows at scale (n8n, Make, Zapier at the API level, or custom)
