We are hiring a full-stack developer for Aikido Security BV to help build Noon, our workforce security product. You will work closely with the Noon team to create a secure, scalable core, starting from an early stage.

You’ll write modular code using TypeScript, Node.js (Fastify) and React, build APIs on PostgreSQL, and design high-availability applications. The role requires medior to senior experience and a strong problem-solver mindset, with willingness to learn new languages as needed.

As a full-stack developer, you’ll be working closely with the Noon team at Aikido. Noon is our new workforce security product, protecting people from AI-powered attacks such as phishing, malware and deepfakes. It brings together email protection, device protection, AI governance, and attack simulations and training in one platform. You’ll help build the core of it from an early stage.

Responsibilities

• Write modular, testable, and efficient code using TypeScript, Node.js (Fastify) and React.
• Build and maintain APIs and data models on PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement high-availability applications.
• Discover, plan, write, document and maintain new features.
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Understand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Optimize the product code for speed where required.

• Really comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environment
• Strong problem-solver who learns fast and adapts
• Can think along with architectural and impactful decisions
• Willing to learn new languages when the product requires it (Rust or Go is a bonus)
• Comfortable researching and tackling hard problems and algorithms (e.g. parsing)
• Willing to experiment (and also willing to perhaps throw away some code)
• Medior to Senior:
  • We are going fast and need experienced people that can hit the ground running with us.
  • You need to be comfortable with Node.js, TypeScript and React. SQL experience is enough, deep PostgreSQL expertise is not needed.
  • No stranger to implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Bonus: technical knowledge of email, EDR or malware
• Fluent in English
• Candidates must be able to work from our offices in Ghent, Warsaw or Chicago.
