craft it is seeking a front-end developer with several years of Angular and TypeScript experience to ship production-ready features in a regulated, high-trust environment. For a developer with a few years of front-end experience who wants real ownership and disciplined delivery in a serious product environment.

At craft it, we build software products and delivery assets for regulated financial institutions operating in demanding credit risk environments. Our work sits at the intersection of business substance, product thinking, and disciplined software delivery.

We are looking for a front-end developer who already knows how to ship and wants to do it on a real product, close to delivery, with room to grow.

Your focus is web development with a strong emphasis on front-end engineering in Angular and TypeScript. Our stack is Angular and TypeScript on the front end, and C#- SQL on the back end. You will occasionally contribute to backend work in C#, but this is a front-end role first: front-end is where you are strong and where you want to keep building.

You are expected to contribute from the start, take feedback seriously, and steadily increase your autonomy and scope.

What you will do

As a front-end developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of software used in serious client environments.

You will:

• build and improve user-facing features in Angular and TypeScript
• translate functional and product requirements into clear, maintainable code
• care about interface quality, responsiveness, and usability
• occasionally contribute to backend work in C# for APIs and integrations
• work with senior developers, product, and architecture colleagues to shape technical priorities and delivery expectations
• maintain code quality through testing, debugging, reviews, and disciplined implementation
• take clear ownership of well-scoped features within sprint work
• investigate issues, fix defects, and improve reliability and usability
• keep learning the product domain and the delivery standards expected in regulated environments

What we are looking for

You are a strong fit if you:

• have 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• are strong in Angular and TypeScript, with a real track record of features you have shipped
• care about maintainability, code structure, and interface quality
• are comfortable contributing to backend work in C# when the team needs it (occasional, not the core of the role)
• know core engineering fundamentals: version control, code review, debugging, and testing
• write clear, structured code and take ownership of what you deliver
• are dependable, autonomous, and open to feedback
• speak French and have a professional working level of English, or the reverse

A master's degree is not required. We care about what you have built and how you work, not the length of your diploma. Deep database expertise is not what we are looking for here either.

You would stand out with

• fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) and a clear, practical way of using them in your daily workflow. We use these more and more, and we want someone who can also sharpen how the team works with them.
• building responsive, reusable front-end components and design systems
• consuming REST APIs and working confidently across the front-end / back-end boundary
• Git, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tooling
• experience in regulated, quality-sensitive, or high-traceability environments

What success looks like

In the first weeks, you should be able to:

• get productive quickly on front-end tasks in Angular and TypeScript
• understand our product, delivery approach, and engineering standards
• communicate clearly about progress, blockers, and technical questions

Over time, strong performance in this role means:

• your code is dependable, readable, and production-ready
• you own defined features end to end and deliver them with care
• you ask good questions, learn quickly, and apply feedback well
• you help raise the bar on front-end quality and on how the team works, including with AI tools
• work on real products and delivery challenges, not only internal exercises
• own front-end work on a product used in serious client environments
• work alongside experienced colleagues across development, architecture, product, and consulting
• help shape how a young, ambitious company builds software
• grow in an environment that values rigor, ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Hybrid model: 3 days/week in the office (standard expectation)

Brussels-based, with international client exposure
