Job summary

Bluecrux seeks a freelance Supply Chain Planning Transformation Manager (German speaking) to lead planning transformation projects across European clients. You will shape scope, drive delivery and guide business and technology stakeholders through decisions, using Anaplan and other planning tools.

Flexibility to work remotely within Europe is offered; you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and run governance in German and English to deliver impactful transformations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering supply chain planning transformations for clients.
• Consulting experience and ability to structure delivery, run workshops and guide clients through decisions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning, including people, data and tech.
• Led projects involving Anaplan or comparable planning solutions (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, o9).
• Capable of managing scope, budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Fluent German and strong English communication, with ability to facilitate governance meetings.

Freelance Supply Chain Planning Transformation Manager – German Speaking

Description

As a Supply Chain Planning Transformation Manager, you will work with Bluecrux’ Anaplan practice to lead planning transformation projects for German-speaking clients. You will bring structure to complex delivery environments, guide project teams and help business and technology stakeholders make clear decisions.

Your focus will be on project delivery: translating business objectives into achievable plans, managing execution and keeping teams aligned from mobilisation through implementation and adoption.

What you’ll do

• Lead planning transformation projects. Take responsibility for full projects or major workstreams within larger programmes, working with a Bluecrux engagement lead. Define scope, deliverables, milestones and responsibilities, and keep delivery focused on the client’s objectives.
• Manage project performance. Monitor progress across scope, quality, budget and timelines. Anticipate risks, manage dependencies and address issues before they disrupt delivery.
• Guide clients through decisions. Facilitate workshops, project governance meetings and steering committees in German and English. Communicate progress clearly, make trade-offs visible and secure alignment on priorities and next steps.
• Connect business and technology teams. Work with planning specialists, solution architects and implementation teams to translate business needs into coordinated delivery plans.
• Lead and support the project team. Coordinate activities across Bluecrux, client teams and implementation partners. Set clear expectations, delegate effectively and help team members resolve delivery challenges.
• Support adoption and lasting results. Build change management, business readiness and knowledge transfer into the project approach so that new planning processes and solutions become part of everyday operations.

About you

• You have a proven track record of managing supply chain planning transformation projects in a client-facing environment.
• You bring consulting experience and can independently structure delivery, facilitate discussions and guide clients through complex decisions.
• You understand end-to-end supply chain planning and how processes, people, data and technology come together in a transformation.
• You have led projects involving Anaplan or comparable planning solutions, such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP or o9. You can work effectively with functional and technical specialists; hands-on Anaplan configuration expertise is not required.
• You manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies with confidence, while staying close to the work and the team.
• You build trust with senior stakeholders, communicate clearly and constructively challenge decisions when delivery or business outcomes are at risk.
• You can lead workshops, governance discussions and stakeholder conversations in German, and collaborate effectively in English.
