Michael Page is recruiting for a freelance Supply Chain Planner in Belgium. The role entails managing daily production and supply planning to ensure continuity, monitoring inventory, and coordinating procurement of materials.

You will oversee order fulfillment and work with production, logistics, suppliers and customers to proactively resolve issues, using the ERP system to manage flows. The ideal candidate has hands-on operation experience, strong coordination skills, and fluent Dutch

• Experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management and Logistics in the food industry.
• Hands-on professional capable of quickly taking ownership of day-to-day operations.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management across internal and external teams.
• Fluent in Dutch with effective stakeholder communication.

Job Description

• Manage daily production and supply planning activities to ensure operational continuity.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Oversee customer order fulfillment and ensure product availability while balancing stock levels.
• Collaborate closely with production, logistics, suppliers, and customers to proactively resolve operational issues.
• Work hands-on with the existing ERP system to manage planning, purchasing, inventory, and order flows.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics within the food industry.
• Hands-on professional capable of quickly taking ownership of day-to-day operations.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across internal and external teams.
• Fluent in Dutch, with the ability to communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify and implement operational improvements while ensuring smooth operational control.
