adesso Belgium is seeking experienced freelance Java developers to join our talent pool for upcoming projects in Belgium. You design and implement cloud-native applications with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, ensuring stable and secure integration with other systems.

You will set up modern CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, develop Angular front-ends, and present solutions to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional or project experience.
• Experience in lead or senior role guiding teams and projects.
• Extensive experience in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Angular.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement cloud-native applications with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.

Your role

• You design and implement cloud-native applications with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, and ensure stable and secure integration with other systems.

• You set up modern CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure high quality through test automation and monitoring.

• You develop front-end components in Angular that connect to backend services and contribute to an optimal user experience.

• You present your solutions to customers and stakeholders, process feedback, and defend well-founded technical choices.

• You work closely with developers, designers, and architects, take responsibility for the final delivery quality, and ensure the optimal balance between customer requirements and resources.

Your profile

• You have a strong passion for building high-quality digital solutions and the ability to convince both customers and colleagues.

• You have an extensive experience in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Angular, among others.

• You have knowledge of modern software architectures (microservices, event-driven, cloud‑native).

• Proficiency with CI/CD, version control (Git), test automation, and monitoring tools.

• You have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant professional or project experience.

• Experience in a lead or senior role, with proven success in guiding teams and projects.

Languages

• French or Dutch: professional proficiency (spoken and written) is mandatory

• English: strong written communication skills (documentation) is mandatory

• Knowledge of the second national language is an asset
