A leading open-source consultancy in Leuven is looking for freelance profiles to support their embedded applications. You will work on projects involving C/C++ development, Linux systems, and embedded processors. The ideal candidate has experience in software development, a strong understanding of Linux, and a drive for quality project delivery. This role offers a hybrid working model and the possibility to transition to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Expertise in C software development with a clear asset in C++.
• Theoretical understanding of Linux kernel and debugging techniques.
• Experience running SW or Linux on embedded processors.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement software for embedded systems.
• Port LINUX to new platforms based on embedded processors.
• Configure networking protocol stacks and secure access.
