Manuport Logistics (MPL) in Antwerp seeks an experienced logistics professional to strengthen the Minerals Team. You will own the complete export journey for strategic customers, acting as the trusted operational expert and primary contact for one or two key accounts.

You will coordinate bookings, transportation, documentation and invoicing while building long-term relationships, ensuring compliant, high-volume exports and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of experience in freight forwarding and export shipments management.
• Solid understanding of international forwarding processes and transport regulations.
• Experience in Minerals, Bulk Commodities, Raw Materials or related sectors is a strong asset.
• Strong focus on building long-term customer relationships and trusted partnerships.
• Ability to manage high-volume business and strategic accounts with ownership and accountability.
• Accurate handling of forwarding documentation and compliance requirements.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong prioritization, pressure handling and decision-making.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a bias for continuous improvement.
• Comfort with digital tools and improving workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the complete export logistics journey for a small portfolio of strategic Minerals customers.
• Be the operational expert and primary contact for one or two key accounts.
• Coordinate bookings, transportation, documentation, invoicing and follow-up.
• Build long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational challenges to avoid customer impact.
• Collaborate closely with carriers, terminals, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Advise customers on logistics solutions and operational possibilities.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal procedures.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and boost customer satisfaction.
• Own your customer portfolio and contribute to Minerals business growth.

Job Responsibilities

As a Forwarder within our Minerals team, you take ownership of the complete logistics journey for a small portfolio of strategic customers with significant export volumes.

Rather than managing dozens of accounts, you'll become the operational expert and trusted point of contact for one or two key customers. By building a deep understanding of their business, supply chains and requirements, you help ensure their export operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

• Managing export shipments from A to Z for a portfolio of strategic Minerals customers.
• Acting as the primary operational point of contact for one or two key accounts.
• Coordinating bookings, transportation, documentation, invoicing and operational follow-up.
• Building long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational challenges before they impact the customer.
• Coordinating closely with carriers, terminals, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Managing high export volumes while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Advising customers on logistics solutions and operational possibilities.
• Ensuring compliance with transport regulations, customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Identifying opportunities to optimize processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Taking ownership of your customer portfolio and contributing to the continued growth of the Minerals business.
• Acting as a trusted logistics partner by understanding your customers' needs and long-term objectives.
