Parallel Consulting seeks a seasoned Network Security Engineer in Belgium to diagnose and resolve advanced networking and security issues across large enterprise environments. You will design, implement, and maintain Fortinet security solutions, and administer FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer platforms.

The role includes troubleshooting BGP/OSPF, deploying SD-WAN, and driving security hardening while optimizing performance.

Qualifications

Diagnose and resolve advanced networking and security issues across enterprise environments.
Maintain Fortinet security solutions with strong hands-on expertise.
Support and optimise FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer platforms.

Responsabilités

Diagnose and resolve advanced networking and security issues across enterprise environments.
Design, implement, and maintain Fortinet security solutions.
Administer and support FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer platforms.
Troubleshoot and optimise dynamic routing technologies including BGP and OSPF.
Deploy and enhance SD-WAN architectures and segmented network environments.
Improve security posture through hardening initiatives and performance tuning.
Develop and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Ansible and Git.
Support Infrastructure-as-Code principles and contribute to configuration standardisation.
Plan, document, and execute technical changes within production environments.
Conduct problem management activities, including root cause investigations and preventative improvements.
Work closely with architects, consultants, and technical teams to deliver network and security projects.
