Jensen Hughes Belgium seeks a Fire Simulation Engineer to advance safety and security through advanced fire modelling. You will develop and run simulations, analyse results and collaborate with architects, engineers and clients to embed fire safety into building designs.

The role requires a degree in Fire Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in fire simulation, and proficiency in FDS and PyroSim plus Python. Dutch and English are required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fire Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 3 years in fire simulation or related field.
• Proficiency in FDS and PyroSim; data analysis tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute fire simulations to model fire behaviour, smoke movement and heat release.
• Analyse simulation data to inform fire safety strategies.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate fire safety into designs.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and project teams.
• Ensure simulations comply with local and international fire safety standards.
• Stay updated on new fire safety technologies and methods.
• Engage with clients to discuss requirements and findings.
