Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience administering fraud, AML or compliance-monitoring platforms such as SEON or equivalent tools.

  • Ability to translate business and regulatory needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working across Compliance, Operations and Engineering.
  • Ability to train non-technical colleagues and produce clear, practical documentation.
  • Structured, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsabilités

  • Own and administer our fraud and compliance technology stack, including configuration, integrations, access management and day-to-day maintenance.
  • Monitor tool performance and continuously improve rules, workflows and alert quality.
  • Act as the internal technical expert for our compliance systems, ensuring they remain reliable, documented and fit for purpose.
  • Analyse alert volumes and backlogs, identify their root causes and implement a structured plan to reduce and control them.
  • Develop monitoring and reporting to track alert volumes, processing times, system performance and emerging issues.
  • Translate Compliance and Operations requirements into clear technical specifications for Engineering.
  • Train Compliance, Operations and Customer Support colleagues on the effective use of the tools.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, procedures and user guidance.
  • Support the formalisation and continuous improvement of fraud and financial-crime alert-management processes.

Context

Our compliance operations rely on systems that need to be reliable, scalable and properly understood.

We are looking for a Compliance Systems Analyst to take ownership of our fraud and compliance technology stack, including SEON. You will manage its configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement, while helping our teams process alerts efficiently and keep operational backlogs under control.

Sitting at the intersection of Compliance, Operations and Engineering, you will translate compliance needs into practical technical solutions and become the internal point of reference for our monitoring tools.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external technology providers when incidents, changes or product improvements are required.
What you bring
  • Hands-on experience administering fraud, AML or compliance-monitoring platforms such as SEON or equivalent tools.
  • Experience configuring systems, rules and integrations—not only using them as an end user.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large, complex or imperfect datasets.
  • The ability to investigate operational backlogs, identify underlying issues and establish clear priorities.
  • The ability to translate business and regulatory needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working across Compliance, Operations and Engineering.
  • The ability to train non-technical colleagues and produce clear, practical documentation.
  • A structured, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to have
  • Experience within fintech, payments, banking or another regulated financial-services environment.
  • Knowledge of fraud, AML or transaction-monitoring workflows.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, SQL or business-intelligence tools.
  • Experience working with third-party technology providers.

You will report to the Head of Engineering, with a functional link to the Head of Compliance
