Oleon in Belgium seeks a Financial Analyst to support the finance team in following up on R&D, SG&A and cash activities. You will collect and check data, prepare budgets and forecasts, and support monthly reporting with presentations.

You will collaborate closely with controllers and colleagues across departments and report to the Finance & Cost Manager. You are a recent graduate or have early experience in finance, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, economics or a related field.
• Recent graduate or first experience in finance, controlling, audit or accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, proactive and a team player.
• Good knowledge of Excel; Power BI and ERP experience are assets.

As FINANCIAL ANALYST, you support the finance team with the financial follow-up of our R&D, SG&A and Cash activities.

You help collect and check financial information, prepare various reports and presentations and support the budgeting and forecasting processes. In this role, you work closely with controllers, finance colleagues and colleagues from other departments. You will report to the Finance & Cost Manager.

Your responsibilities:

• You collect, check and consolidate financial data.
• You help prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly reports including presentations. Both planned as well as ad hoc
• You monitor costs and help identify differences between actual results and budget.
• You prepare financial overviews and recurring reports for the finance team.
• You support the financial follow-up of R&D projects and support departments.
• You help ensure that costs are correctly recorded and allocated.
• You assist with ad hoc financial analyses and business cases.
• You contribute to improving financial reports, tools and processes.
• You work closely with colleagues across finance and business.
