Job summary

Oleon is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting and financial follow-up across R&D, SG&A and Cash activities. You’ll collect data, prepare budgets and reports, monitor costs and ensure correct cost recording, working with controllers and cross-functional teams.

You should hold a master’s in finance/economics and have hands-on Power BI experience with AI-enabled reporting, plus fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, economics or related field.
• Relevant experience in finance, controlling, audit or accounting.
• Advanced Power BI expertise and understanding of AI technologies for dashboards and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, structured work style and attention to detail.

Job description

As FINANCIAL ANALYST, you support the finance team with the financial follow-up of our R&D, SG&A and Cash activities.

You help collect and check financial information, prepare various reports and presentations and support the budgeting and forecasting processes. In this role, you work closely with controllers, finance colleagues and colleagues from other departments. You will report to the Finance & Cost Manager.

Your responsibilities:

• You collect, check and consolidate financial data.
• You help prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly reports including presentations. Both planned as well as ad hoc
• You monitor costs and help identify differences between actual results and budget.
• You prepare financial overviews and recurring reports for the finance team.
• You support the financial follow-up of R&D projects and support departments.
• You help ensure that costs are correctly recorded and allocated.
• You assist with ad hoc financial analyses and business cases.
• You contribute to improving financial reports, tools and processes.
• You work closely with colleagues across finance and business.

• You have relevant experience in finance, controlling, audit or accounting.
