Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Economics.
• Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Solid grasp of bookkeeping and account management.
• Proficient with accounting software and able to troubleshoot issues.
• Keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
• Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Manage accounts payable, employee expenses, bank transactions, and payment processing.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Support VAT filings, payroll tax administration, statutory reporting, and external audits.
• Oversee Belgian and US accounting software and maintain seamless data flow.
