Axis Group seeks an experienced Accounting & Financial Officer to coordinate the budgeting process and ensure accurate financial records. You will liaise with budget managers and external auditors, supporting treasury, reporting, and process improvements in a global, people-focused setting.

You will oversee daily accounting activities, cash flows, and month-end closings, while producing management reports and ensuring regulatory compliance in a hybrid, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Taxation or comparable experience in a financial environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting with thorough understanding of financial processes, reporting and budget monitoring.
• Experience in cash management, treasury management, or process automation is a plus.
• Excellent command of Dutch and professional level of French and English.
• Familiarity with accounting software, Excel and digital financial tools.
• Strong accuracy, analytical thinking, organizational skills and independence.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and monitor variances.
• Ensure reliable, complete, and compliant accounting and guarantee proper processing of payments.
• Oversee daily accounting activities, including reconciliations, month-end closings, and automated processes.
• Manage cash flows, schedule payments, and maintain relationships with financial partners.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management.
• Monitor accounts receivable and contribute to optimizing financial management.
• Coordinate audits and tax matters and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to process and internal control optimizations.
