Minds&More in Belgium is looking for a Finance Consultant – Accounting & Controlling to join our permanent team. You will work on a variety of finance projects across different clients, combining hands-on accounting with a growing focus on reporting, analysis, budgeting and controlling.

You’ll take on roles such as GL Accountant, AP/AR Accountant, Business Controller, Finance Analyst or Reporting Specialist, contributing to closings, VAT returns, cost analysis and financial reporting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Fiscality, Applied Economics, Business Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and/or controlling.
• Solid hands-on accounting experience and ability to independently handle core accounting processes.
• Experience with, or strong interest in, controlling, reporting and financial analysis.
• Experience with closings, budgeting and forecasting is a strong asset.
• Bilingual in Dutch and French; English is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Accurate, hands-on and well organized.

Responsabilités

Have you built a solid foundation in accounting and are you ready to broaden your experience in controlling and financial analysis?

As a Finance Consultant – Accounting & Controlling, you will work on a variety of finance projects with different clients. You combine your hands-on accounting experience with a growing focus on reporting, analysis, budgeting and controlling.

Depending on your experience and the client’s needs, you may take on roles such as:

• GL Accountant
• AP/AR Accountant
• Business Controller
• Finance Analyst
• Accounting & Reporting Specialist

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
• Managing and reviewing accounting transactions and reconciliations
• Preparing VAT returns
• Following up on accounts receivable and payable
• Analyzing costs, revenues and financial variances
• Preparing financial and management reports
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Providing financial insights to finance managers and stakeholders

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Fiscality, Applied Economics, Business Economics or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and/or controlling.
• You have solid hands-on accounting experience and can independently handle core accounting processes.
• You have experience with, or a strong interest in, controlling, reporting and financial analysis.
• Experience with closings, budgeting and forecasting is a strong asset.
• You are bilingual in Dutch and French; English is a plus.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are accurate, hands-on and well organized.
• You are proactive, eager to learn and comfortable taking initiative.
• You communicate confidently and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• You are flexible and enjoy working across different companies, sectors and finance environments.
• You are flexible regarding projects and locations across Belgium.
