Umicore Belgium, Battery Recycling Solutions, seeks a Finance Business Partner Expert to lead financial controlling and provide strategic insights for the BRS unit. You will translate numbers into actionable decisions, drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will work 2–3 days per week at Hoboken (Antwerp) and the rest from Brussels/Olen or home, leveraging SAP, Anaplan and Power BI to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or controlling.
• Strong SAP expertise and advanced Excel.
• Digital-savvy and embraces new technologies.
• Experience with Anaplan and/or Power BI is a strong asset.
• Data-driven mindset with hands-on, proactive approach.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Experience in project management and change management.
• Trusted financial business partner to senior management.
• Ability to coordinate projects across finance, business, and other departments.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the month-end closing, revenue recognition, WIP calculations and KPI analysis.
• Ensure metal management and hedging practices; align bond sales with plan.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting with cross-functional input.
• Monitor cost variances and KPIs; define improvement plans with owners.
• Act as financial expert and ensure tools are financially sound and updated.
• Maintain end-to-end view of processes, document new setups and improvements.
• Ensure MICR compliance through periodic assessments.
• Promote financial awareness and business acumen across the organization.
• Oversee SAP aftercare and integration with tools like Anaplan/Power BI.
