V2X, a global provider of critical public works services, seeks a seasoned lead for water distribution and system maintenance under LOGCAP. You will supervise crews, ensure compliance, read drawings, and guide safety practices across DPW and TB MED standards.

Strong supervisory background and extensive plumbing experience are essential. Responsibilities include installing and repairing potable and non-potable systems, coordinating schedules, and providing technical guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman-level experience in water distribution or utilities systems.
• 10+ years of plumbing experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction or General Industry (required within 90 days of hire).
• Lock-Out / Tag-Out supervisor training (required within 90 days of hire).
• Confined Space certification (required within 90 days of hire).
• Trenching and excavation safety training (required within 90 days of hire).
• First Aid / CPR (required within 90 days of hire).
• Water Distribution Operator certification (Level II or III equivalent, required).
• Backflow prevention certification (or equivalent, required).
• Cross-connection control certification (or equivalent, required).
• Heavy equipment operation familiarity (or equivalent, required).

Responsabilités

• Correctly and efficiently completes installation, modification and repairs of water distribution and storm drain systems.
• Measure, fabricate and install odd size parts; improvise when needed.
• Use, maintain and account for all hand/power tools to fulfill duties.
• Assemble pipe sections and fittings with couplings and joints.
• Fill pipes with water/air and inspect for leaks using gauges.
• Install pipe assemblies, valves using hand/power tools.
• Be available for on-call duties after hours and weekends.
