You provide effective & efficient technical interventions on products, equipment and systems used in our field operations Wallonia Est (Liège - Malmédy - Bastogne - Durbuy area). You work autonomously and you find a solution. You aim for optimal customer satisfaction according to BIA’s maintenance contracts and SLA agreements.
Overall:
- Assemble, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair field equipment in accordance with workshop manuals and repair procedures
- Ensure continuous functionality, optimal utilization, and maximum availability of equipment; perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to instructions and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards
- Follow planning instructions and meet reporting requirements. Represent BIA’s values in the field
HSE:
- Maintain safe working conditions for everyone on site, including yourself, colleagues, visitors, subcontractors, and more broadly all parties who may be affected by BIA Group’s activities
- Apply safe work practices to ensure the protection of company property, equipment, and data
Integrity:
- Ensure the preservation of the environment in the broadest sense
- Be familiar with and comply with the group’s general HSE procedures and HSE policy
- Identify, document, and report any issues related to health, safety, or the environment
- Initiate, propose, and recommend solutions through the defined reporting channels
- Participate in all mandatory HSE events or those requested by the HSE department
- Stop work, exercise your right to withdraw, and interrupt any activity in the event of serious and imminent danger
- Ask for assistance if in doubt regarding any HSE issue
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Always adopt a rational, reasonable attitude and act responsibly
- You have proven experience with maintenance & repair of mining, quarrying or construction equipment (ideal) or large vehicles like busses, trucks, farming equipment, etc.
- You are autonomous, solution oriented and customer focused, with a sound commercial appetite
- You are fluent in French (speaking & writing). You are able to interpret and apply hydraulic and electric work instructions in English
