Job description

You are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial liquid and vacuum pumps at clients' sites in Belgium. You depart from home in your service vehicle and receive technical support whenever needed.

• You install, configure and maintain liquid and vacuum pumps at industrial clients' sites.
• You analyse breakdowns on-site, identify the root cause and carry out the necessary repairs.
• You primarily perform mechanical and hydraulic work on pumps and associated installations.
• You oversee the commissioning of new installations and explain their operation and maintenance to clients.
• You are the technical point of contact for clients and contribute ideas on suitable solutions, replacement parts and potential upgrades.
• You record your activities, diagnoses and recommendations in a service report.
• You travel directly from home to the client and occasionally support the service workshop or colleagues when needed.
• You work independently in the field, but can rely on a planner and technical colleagues for support with more complex interventions.
