Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking data collectors who will drive assigned routes, capture 360-degree imagery, and ensure high-quality data collection for our EU projects. You will work with our field teams to cover commercial districts and historic sites while maintaining safety and schedule adherence.

The role values responsible driving, reliability, clear reporting, and comfortable use of basic digital tools such as Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver Licence.
• Good driving skills and clean driving record.
• Good physical condition.
• Must be able to install the cameras on the roof of a vehicle (6 kg in weight and 1 metre in height).
• Comfort with using Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet and WhatsApp.
• Available for a minimum of 3 months.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drive routes across public streets and commercial districts around Europe as assigned.
• Capture images and collect data per project requirements.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and safety standards while on assignment.
• Report progress, obstacles, and findings to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Note that weather conditions may require weekend work.

Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.

Project objective

The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas in the EU countries. The project is performed on cars with 360 removable cameras, that are mounted by the driver on top of the vehicle. Cameras image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one the most popular online maps in the world.

The data collectors will be given specific routes around public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions some areas will be visited multiple times in order to collect the best quality of imaging. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas.

The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows well the area, traffic trends, is highly responsible and reliable.

The schedule expected on the project is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week. Due to weather downtime, work on weekends is possible.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver Licence;

• Private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle would be a plus;
• General car knowledge would be a plus;

• High level of responsibility;
