Norsk Hydro's Hydro Extrusions division is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Excellence professional to drive standardization and performance across Europe. You will partner with plants and leadership to elevate fabrication standards and improve key KPIs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional projects, Lean/Six Sigma practices, and a data-driven approach to safety, quality and efficiency, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years in fabrication of structural components.
• Experience with aluminium extrusion manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen or Operational Excellence.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience participating in cross-site improvement projects and KPI work (OEE, uptime).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain fabrication standards across Europe with safety and efficiency focus.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, uptime, asset utilization, productivity, scrap and quality.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites.
• Identify and share best practices; harmonize fabrication processes across the European network.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and technical stakeholders, providing expertise and support.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement; ensure compliance with Quality System and HSE.
• Contribute to improvements in quality, safety, sustainability and operational performance.
