Koda Tech is seeking an Expert Angular Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation as a long-term freelance contractor. You will shape front-end architecture, establish development standards, and drive best practices across multiple teams.

You will design scalable enterprise web applications, build and maintain component libraries and design systems, mentor others, and lead technical discussions in an Agile environment while enhancing CI/CD and testing workflows.

• Extensive Angular and TypeScript experience.

• Proven CI/CD and automation experience.
• Experience with Azure and cloud-hosted apps.

We're currently supporting a major enterprise organisation on the search for an Expert Angular Developer to join a large scale digital transformation programme on a long term freelance contract running until 2028. This is an opportunity to influence front end architecture, establish development standards, and drive best practices across multiple teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining scalable front-end architectures for enterprise web applications.
• Developing and expanding reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Leading technical discussions and guiding development teams on best practices.
• Translating complex business requirements into high-performing, maintainable solutions.
• Driving software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and architectural governance.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and development automation initiatives.
• Coaching and mentoring developers while contributing to knowledge sharing across teams.
• Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Strong background in Front-End Architecture
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries and design systems
• Knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Actions, and modern CI/CD practices
• Experience with Azure and cloud-hosted web applications
• Strong testing experience, including:
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• End to End Testing
• Vitest
• Playwright
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor development teams
• Strong stakeholder communication skills in both technical and non-technical environments
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and their effective use within enterprise development processes.
