Job summary
Manuchar, based at our Antwerp headquarters, is seeking an ambitious Trader Polymers Europe to manage and grow a customer portfolio across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the Nordics, and Eastern Europe. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers and identify new business opportunities.
In a dynamic, international trading environment, you will apply market knowledge and commercial drive to contribute to growth of our polymers business and make a real impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, commercial, or technical field.
- 3–5 years of commercial experience in the plastics or petrochemical industry.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; good command of German; French is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive European growth by expanding an existing customer portfolio and developing new opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with producers, distributors, traders and plastics converters.
- Spot market opportunities and turn them into profitable international deals.
- Negotiate with customers and suppliers through the full commercial process from contact to closing.
- Stay on top of market trends, price developments, and supply-demand changes.
- Develop strategic partnerships to grow the European business.
- Travel regularly across Europe to meet customers and represent Manuchar at trade fairs.
