Ashurst is actively expanding its competition law teams in Belgium, offering Associates exposure to Belgian and EU competition law and mentorship from renowned partners.

The role involves conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating competitive law agreements, and supporting investigations before Belgian and EU authorities. Dutch as a first language with strong French are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of experience in EU competition and/or Belgian law
• First language: Dutch, with very good French

Responsabilités

• Conduct legal research and provide advice on antitrust, merger control, state aid, abuse of dominance, cartel, and EU & Belgian competition law matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and contracts with potential competition law implications.
• Support litigation, investigations, and regulatory filings before Belgian and EU authorities.
