Thema Foundries in Belgium is seeking an Equipment Engineer to own the maintenance plan for a defined set of Fab tools, ensuring performance, quality and availability while driving continuous improvement in a high‑tech, regulated environment.

You will implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, monitor equipment performance, define improvement projects (uptime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, cost) and train maintenance technicians, collaborating closely with production teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electronic or electro-mechanics with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience in high tech or strictly regulated process environments (pharma, chemical, semiconductor).
• Familiar with statistical analysis and LEAN manufacturing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Working language: English; Dutch and French a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Follow up on equipment performance.
• Define and execute projects to improve tool performance (uptime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, quality, cost).
• Support and training the maintenance technicians.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
• Collaborate closely with the production teams; on-call for equipment.
