Vulcain Engineering Group | Belgium is seeking an EPLAN Designer to design, develop and optimize electrical schematics for food & beverage production facilities. You will contribute to modernization projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety and overall performance of industrial installations.

The role involves creating and updating schematics, cabinet layouts and technical documentation using EPLAN Electric P8, while collaborating with automation engineers and project teams to meet safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline required.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical design using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience on industrial projects involving production equipment or facilities.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and safety principles.
• Ability to read and develop technical electrical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.

Responsabilités

As part of our industrial activities, we are looking for an EPLAN Designer to support the design, development and optimization of electrical schematics for production facilities in the food & beverage industry. You will contribute to modernization projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, safety standards and the overall performance of industrial installations.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Design and update electrical schematics, cabinet layouts and documentation using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Support modernization projects for production lines and industrial equipment within food manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable standards, safety requirements and customer specifications.
• Collaborate closely with automation engineers, project managers, maintenance teams and production stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, bill of materials and engineering drawings.
• Participate in the implementation of solutions aimed at improving production efficiency, reliability and plant organization.
• Contribute to the creation of a safer working environment through the integration of electrical safety requirements and best practices.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical design using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience working on industrial projects involving production equipment, machinery or manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and electrical safety principles.
• Ability to read, interpret and develop technical electrical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.
