Qualifications
- Engineering student at Master or PhD level in Mechatronics/Controls/Chemical/Process/Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Environmental.
- Must remain enrolled at university during internship.
- Available for at least 13 weeks (3 months).
- Proficient in English with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate technical options to meet business objectives.
- Study technical feasibility using high-end computer modeling and simulation.
- Lead economic evaluations with Manufacturing, R&D and other groups.
- Design, develop and procure new processing equipment.
- Develop and conduct acceptance tests on vendor equipment.
- Address equipment problems with production staff and existing operations.
